ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY

For more than two decades, J. Enrique Nazar has dedicated his professional life to the practice of General Orthopedic Surgery with emphasis in total joint replacement, as well as sports medicine.
After graduation from the National Autonormus University of Mexico, Dr. Nazar received his orthopedic training at the National Center in Mexico City. He served as Chief of Sports Medicine for the University of Mexico as well as attending orthopedic surgeon for The Red Cross. Following this, he came to the United States, where he had training in general surgery at the Pennsylvania Hospital and had fellowship training in join replacement under the direction of Richard Rothman, M.D., PhD. Since 1988, Dr. Nazar has been providing orthopedic care for patients in the Towanda area and surrounding communities.
